Robert J. Biggins, owner of Magoun-Biggins Funeral home is a licensed embalmer and funeral director. He has been affiliated with the funeral home in Rockland since 1986 as a partner and completed the purchase of the firm from the Magoun family in 1998.

Active in community affairs he is a member of the Rockland Chamber of Commerce, the Rockland Kiwanis Club, Rockland Knights of Columbus and was awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship from Rotary International.

A graduate of New England Institute of Funeral Service, he is an active member of professional organizations. He has served as President of the Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association, and continues to serve as the President of the New England Funeral Trust.

An elected member of the Executive Board of the National Funeral Director's Association, Bob serves as a media spokesperson and member of several committees. He has received the distinction of being named a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP), from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice for his diligence in continuing education and community service.

He is married to Christine (Stiles) Biggins and they are the parents of three children. Daniel, Erin and Andrew. Bob and his family reside in Hanson and are active members of the community both civically and through their involvement in St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
